All I feel I really need to say is: IYKYK Modoo was the OG halal Korean spot in NYC. Though quite the trek, as it’s not near any subway lines, they still are packed out on weekend evenings. My sister and I love love love the food here and we always order the Gold Tangy chicken. I do recommend taking advantage of their lunch specials which are from Mon-Fri from 12PM - 2:30PM (excluding holidays) for dine-in only. All the ingredients and meat is halal. Chicken is by hand. They do serve alcohol.
