I’ve been hearing about Madre for a minute, so I finally pulled up for brunch and it was delicious! I can see why they’ve been recognized by the Michelin Guide for 4 consecutive years. 📍Madre / 214 Franklin St, Brooklyn, New York City ✨ Happy Hour: Wednesday-Thursday 5:30PM - 7PM + All day Sunday Now, my main motivation for pulling up was the French Toast! Thick, pillowy slices with that perfect golden crisp on the outside, soft and custardy on the inside AND the fact that you can get it topped with a scoop of Gelato did it for me! I’d get that over and over again. Overall, everything was great! The Brunch menu is short and sweet but all the options are worth ordering. We ordered a bunch of stuff and ate it family style so we could try a little bit of everything. As for cocktails, we all enjoyed our but The El Sancho is a MUST.
