@veselkanyc has been serving up Ukrainian food in the East Village since 1954 The pierogis and latkes are a must, some of the best I’ve had in New York City. For the pierogis, you can mix classic fillings with 4 for $11 or 8 for $20. We got short rib, braised beef, cheese, potato, and more. They were all delicious but short rib was my favorite. They also currently have limited edition chocolate pierogis with @tonyschocolonely_us which you need to try. Excited to go back and try more of their Ukrainian dishes. I’m always on the hunt for great restaurants in the Theater District before a show, and I was so excited to check out Ginger 🍴 is a beautiful new all-day Italian concept serving healthy & organic dishes, from juices in the morning to full dinner at night. We started off with their pizza, which tasted exactly like how they make it in Italy, and loved the lemon shrimp pasta as an entrée.
